How we score the best UAE free zones
Every list on the internet claims a winner. Ours shows its working. Each zone below is scored across six weighted dimensions, and the cost dimension is confidence-weighted: a cheap headline price backed only by consultant hearsay cannot outrank a slightly dearer price printed on an official fee schedule. Because fame is not a dimension. JAFZA and DAFZA are world-class logistics platforms, but their entry costs are high, mostly quote-based, and structurally tied to physical facilities — which the model penalises for a typical small-business setup.
