Salary Requirement to Sponsor Family
To sponsor a spouse or children in Dubai, the sponsor must earn at least AED 4,000 per month (or AED 3,000 plus accommodation provided). In Abu Dhabi the threshold is AED 2,500 per month.
Documents to Sponsor Spouse
- Sponsor valid UAE residence visa and Emirates ID
- Attested marriage certificate (UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs attestation required)
- Sponsor salary certificate or employment contract
- Tenancy contract or utility bill
Sponsoring Parents
To sponsor parents you must earn at least AED 20,000 per month and have a minimum of 3 bedrooms in your accommodation. Parents receive a one-year visa renewable annually.
