Digital Nomad Visa vs UAE Freelancer Permit
The Digital Nomad Visa is for employees of foreign companies. If you are self-employed and want to invoice UAE clients directly, you need a UAE Freelancer Permit from a free zone such as IFZA (AED 12,500/year) or Fujairah Creative City (AED 10,500/year).
