How to Increase Your UAE Free Zone Visa Quota
Upgrade your office space: move from a virtual address to a flexi desk, or from a flexi desk to a private office. The quota increase takes effect immediately upon the office upgrade and licence amendment. If upgrading office space is not practical: apply for a visa quota increase directly from the free zone authority. Some free zones grant additional visas at AED 1,000–2,000 per additional visa slot, without requiring a physical office upgrade. DMCC quota increases: managed through DMCC Connect client portal → “Visa Quota Increase” application.
Employee vs. Partner Visas
All sponsored visas (whether employee or partner/director) count against the company’s visa quota. Free zone investor visas (for company owners) also count against the quota — plan ahead to ensure the owner’s visa is included in the quota calculation.
