What Free Zone Companies Cannot Do Without Additional Licences
- Direct retail to UAE consumers: Cannot directly sell goods from a free zone entity to UAE mainland consumers without a mainland agent or DED licence
- Run a physical shop in UAE mainland: Free zone company cannot hold a UAE mainland commercial premises lease (generally)
- Practice law in UAE courts: Requires UAE Bar admission; free zone company cannot do this
