Dubai Knowledge Park (DKP) is TECOM’s dedicated free zone for human resources, learning, and development organisations. It is home to 500+ companies including universities, training organisations, HR consultancies, and learning technology companies.
Who Is DKP For?
Dubai Knowledge Park is designed for: universities and higher education institutions (Middlesex University Dubai, HULT, SP Jain), professional development and training organisations, HR consulting firms, learning technology (LMS, e-learning platforms), talent management companies, and organisations offering professional certifications. DKP is the UAE’s premier address for HR and education companies — co-location with SHRM UAE, CIPD Middle East, and major training providers creates significant networking value.
DKP Licence Packages
DKP licence types: Business Centre Package (flexi desk, 1–3 activities, 1–3 visas): AED 15,000–25,000/year. Serviced Office Package (private office): AED 30,000–60,000/year depending on size. University/Higher Education: Separate licensing framework with KHDA approval required.
DKP Location and Facilities
DKP is located in Al Sufouh, Dubai — adjacent to Dubai Internet City and Dubai Media City. It is served by the Dubai Metro (DIC Metro Station, Red Line) and within 5 minutes of Sheikh Zayed Road. DKP has dedicated conference facilities, training rooms, and a university campus zone. The walkability between DKP, DIC, and DMC creates significant cross-zone networking opportunities for companies based in any of the three.
Company Registration Process at DKP
Apply through the TECOM Business Registration Portal. Processing: 5–10 working days. Required documents: shareholder/director passport copies, business plan, proposed company name. KHDA approval is an additional step for companies offering certified educational programmes — allow 30–60 additional days for KHDA review.
